Victory comes after the fight. If you're in the fight...stand strong! You feel the fatigue, you bear the scars and you may not see how it will end, but you fight! You declare what is true, not what you see. You rise when you don't know where the strength will come from. You wipe the blood and the sweat from your brow and you defy the attack in Jesus name. The battle is the Lord's and your part is to do as it says in 1 Timothy 6:12 "Fight the good fight of faith..." Sometimes it's so intense the sword sticks to your hand. You grip the shield of faith for all your worth and you don't let go. You don't give up though others may. You don't let the enemy have a foothold to win. You trust, you speak the Word of God and having done all you stand and do not relent. The prophet spoke of one of David's valiant warriors in 2 Samuel 23:9-10 "And after him was Eleazar... one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there for battle, and the men of Israel had retreated. He arose and attacked the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand stuck to the sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to plunder." The way to victory is unrelenting faith...grip the Sword until the enemy sees it is of no value to continue the fight...you're battle cry is unstoppable.
May it be said of every one of us...no matter what it looks like, no matter the cost, no matter the advance of principalities of darkness...we fight until we see VICTORY! 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
