We are living in a time where the "circus" has seemingly taken over the sanctuary. Between the flashy "miracle" products and the "Charismania" of self-appointed prophets claiming trips to heaven in sapphire chariots, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the noise. We’ve watched as major platforms continue to elevate those who prioritize sensationalism over the sincere Gospel, often ignoring deep-seated issues of character and sin. It is enough! We must be a people who reject the "fake it till you make it" energy and instead demand a return to the authentic, sober-minded faith that the Apostle Paul modeled.

But even as we call out the darkness and the "whack-a-doodles" who drive seekers away, we must remember where our true strength lies. Our God is not found in the hype or the planes and trains of the prosperity message; He is found when we surrender our hearts and turn our mess into a message of redemption. Whether it is through the courageous testimony of those like Denise Mountenay, who found healing from the pain of the past, or simply by stopping our complaints to offer up a sacrifice of praise, we find that God is still on the throne. He inhabits our praises and remains faithful through every trial.

As you read through this week’s updates, I urge you to stay bold and keep your eyes fixed on the Truth. Let us be a remnant that values spiritual authority over celebrity and chooses the miracle of life over the lies of the world. No enemy can stop the purposes of God when we stand together in prayer and discernment. Stay vigilant, stay encouraged, and remember that our God is majestic from everlasting to everlasting.

The facade of prosperity and the state of Daystar is something we must look at closely, because the "fake it till you make it" energy is at an all-time high. In a recent broadcast, we saw Doug and Joni Lamb promoting "miracle molecules" to stay young, yet they don’t exactly look like the picture of health themselves. It’s heartbreaking to watch Joni sitting there on pins and needles, never knowing what Doug might say next, while they continue to push a prosperity message that frankly feels like a disaster. They are even investing in new satellites to ensure this "gospel" of wealth and big houses reaches every corner of the globe, including right here in Canada.

What’s most troubling is the relentless smiling from the next generation, like Joshua and Rachel, who continue to host as if nothing is wrong despite serious allegations and a dark cloud hanging over the network. They use bright, colorful diagrams that look more like a "brain on drugs" than a move of God to distract from the reality of their circumstances. We need to pray for a real wake-up call and a return to the true Gospel, because no amount of flashy production or "miracle" products can hide a lack of spiritual authority. Stay vigilant, stay bold, and keep your eyes fixed on the Truth.

Friends, I am so honored to share an interview with my dear friend Denise Mountenay, a courageous Canadian pro-life advocate whose "mess became her message." Denise has lived through the deep trauma of three abortions and is now using her experience to expose the hidden harms and medical risks, like links to breast cancer and mental health struggles, that the mainstream media and cancer societies often ignore. Friends, we have a serious problem in the church today. We are seeing a rise in "Charismania" and church circus acts that are doing nothing but scaring away new disciples. From fake prophets claiming they’ve been taken to heaven in sapphire chariots to leaders who seem more concerned with their "slinky" outfits and "angelic reinforcements from Africa" than with the true Word of God, it is enough! These sensationalist stories and "shake and bake" antics are not of God, especially when they come from individuals with histories of serious sin and narcissism. We must stop honoring the fake and start calling it out, because the crazier these spectacles get, the further they drive people away from a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Gospel is not about planes, trains, or how many automobiles you have; it’s about a heart surrendered to the Lord. We’ve allowed a message of prosperity and "kooky anointings" to take center stage, where being "smashed in the Spirit" is somehow seen as a mark of spirituality. Imagine bringing a friend to church only to have them witness these "whack-a-doodles". It’s no wonder people are reluctant to join us. We need to return to the sincerity of the Apostle Paul and support those who are calling for an end to this fakeness. Let's commit to being a people of truth who value content over sensationalism and who truly reflect the character of Christ to a world that is desperately watching.

I Leave you today with an encouraging video. If you ever feel like God is far away or that you just can’t reach Him, I want to remind you of a beautiful truth: the Word of God says that He inhabits the praises of His people. So often, we get caught up in telling Him non-stop about our problems, our internal conflicts, or everything we see wrong with the world around us. But how often do we stop just to tell Him how much we appreciate Him? He has been there when no one else was paying attention to our crisis, and He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. When we start praising Him and telling Him how awesome and amazing He is, we invite His presence into our situation in a powerful way.

I am so encouraged today knowing that our God is majestic, from everlasting to everlasting, and absolutely all-powerful. No enemy can defeat Him, and as hard as the devil might try, he will not be able to stop God’s purposes for your life. Even through seasons that have not been particularly easy, I have sensed His kindness and love carrying us through. So, whatever you are facing today, take a moment to look past the struggle and just adore Him. Our God is greater than any crisis, and He is faithful through thick and thin!
