"If I didn't do it, nobody would."

That’s what I realized when I looked at the living conditions of my late friend's son. He was effectively an orphan, living in a room that would break your heart.

But thanks to you, we didn't just walk by. We walked in with paint rollers, new furniture, and a whole lot of love. In this video, you will see the moment we revealed his new home, complete with a stocked pantry and a reminder on the wall that God has a plan for him.

This is the side of our ministry that cameras rarely see, but it is the heartbeat of why we do what we do. And we want to continue giving to the community that needs it. This is what you can help us with.

You Bought the Flooring. We Did the Scrubbing.

In this video, you’ll see our team hard at work on Project #2: a home for a 77-year-old gentleman who has been sober for years but was living in a room that didn't reflect his worth. Your donations paid for the new flooring, the fresh paint, and the supplies we needed to scrub away the years of neglect.

We provide the elbow grease, but you provide the materials. Every dollar you give helps us move to the next room and the next soul who needs to know they haven't been forgotten.

How Your Donation Translates to Real Life

You might wonder what it actually costs to take a room from "hopeless" to "home."

In this video update, we break it down: It costs between $3,000 and $4,000 to completely renovate one of these rooms. That covers the new flooring, the fresh paint, the furniture (like the beautiful red microwave Joseph loves!), the linens, and the dignity that comes with it.

We donate the time and the elbow grease, but your giving pays for the transformation.

Because of you, "Joseph", a 77-year-old man who thought he would die in that dark room, now has a gleaming home with a European feel, a stocked fridge, and for the first time in years, a bed with clean sheets. This is the direct result of your generosity. Thank you for helping us turn these houses into homes.

As I close this final email of 2025, I am thinking about a specific verse: "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8).

This year, we have done our best to do both. We acted Justly by exposing the wolves who prey on the flock, refusing to be silent about abuse, corruption, and lies in the highest places of influence. We loved Mercy by walking into the Downtown Eastside, rolling up our sleeves, and restoring dignity to men like William's son and Joseph.

This is who we are. We fight for the truth on the global stage, and we scrub floors for the forgotten on the local stage.

But we cannot do either without you.
